Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) course at Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences is recognised by the Dental Council of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Candidates willing to register for PhD course under RGUHS shall appear for the entrance test conducted by the University.

Qualifying Examinations
Candidates willing to register for PhD course under RGUHS shall appear for the entrance test conducted by the University in spite of having qualified UGC – NET(including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET ( including JRF)/SLET/GATE/ Teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil program.
Qualifying Marks
Ph.D. Entrance Test with 50% marks. The Students who score 50% and above marks are declared qualified and such marks are valid for that academic year only
Duration of course:
The Ph. D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years for full time course and five year for part time course & maximum duration shall be 6 years including course work, from the date of his/her provisional registration.
